The cabin cushions that came with the boat were, well, fitting for Bob & Doug McKenzie's cottage, to put it mildly.
The brown and orange plaid just doesn't do it for me, so they were slated for replacement. The new fabric is Dickson acrylic, essentially the same as Sunbrella, but softer. I chose a "birch" pattern, because it's bright, without being completely white and clinical. I think it'll make the cabin much brighter inside as well.
This photo shows the vinyl fabric marked for the bottom of the v-berth cushions. Unfortunately for me, I neglected to measure accurately enough, and didn't notice that the long diagonal on those cushions is not a straight line. At least I only wasted the $10/metre stuff, not the $23/yard fabric! Back to the measuring tape...
